This has just floated past us - in the air, I should add. At a guess, it's about five feet (1.5metres) long and feeling slightly deflated. It was travelling north to south west and from its trajectory took off from the town (of Dartmouth) and is now heading towards Stoke Fleming. Anyone lost a lion ?

Meanwhile up at Noss on Dart one of the tower cranes came down today. They were erected last September so presumably it is due back soon or else there will be a fine. A bit like a library books.

An expedition superyacht sashayed into the river Dart this afternoon. Called Shinkai (it says on the tin) it's 55 metres long. Built in 2021 by Feadship and reportedly owned by a Belgian who made his billions in sugar. But that might be waffles.
